Who We Are?
Alaboson Foundation was born out of love for humanity, particularly less privileged Gambians. Gambia is rated a third-world country with a high Illiteracy rate, coupled with a very significant percentage of poor people unable to afford the cost of education for their children. For the past seven years, Alaboson Foundation has been able to provide both full and partial scholarships at the primary, secondary, and tertiary levels for the educational needs of several children from poor homes.
The outcomes have been rewarding to the families. Reports of outstanding performances of the children still in school and those who have graduated have been very encouraging. The Foundation has also contributed substantially to the health, accommodation and feeding needs of some of these poor families.
As a result of the successes recorded so far, the Foundation looks forward to including more children in the sponsorship programme as well as partnering with similar humanitarian organizations to help empower families with appropriate skills that will improve their livelihood and living conditions.

Testimonial from a Grateful Parent
When my family faced financial challenges, the Alaboson Foundation stepped in and made what once seemed impossible a reality. Thanks to their generous sponsorship, my child, Solomon Nfandi, was able to attend The Kingdom Heritage Model School for both Nursery and Primary education, a school affiliated with Winners Chapel’s educational arm. Today, Solomon continues his studies at SOS Junior Secondary School and is thriving academically.
From 2017 to 2020, the Foundation provided full sponsorship for Solomon. Since then, they have continued to support him with a partial scholarship. As a result, he is excelling in his studies and consistently ranks at the top of his class.
We are immensely grateful to the Alaboson Foundation for walking this journey with us. On behalf of my entire family, I want to express our heartfelt thanks for the critical role you’ve played in our child’s educational success. Your support has not only lifted a burden but has also opened doors to a brighter future.

I am beyond grateful for the life-changing support I received from the Alaboson Foundation. Thanks to their unwavering commitment to empowering students like me, I was able to complete my university education and recently graduated with pride.
Throughout my academic journey, the Alaboson Foundation stood by my side, providing not just financial assistance, but also mentorship, guidance, and a genuine belief in my potential.
