At Alaboson Foundation, our work is rooted in compassion and driven by a deep commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable children, women, and families in The Gambia. We focus on three key pillars that shape the foundation of a brighter future: Education, Health, and Livelihood Support.
Education
We believe that education is a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty. For over seven years, we have provided full and partial scholarships to children from underprivileged families at the primary, secondary, and tertiary levels. These opportunities have opened doors for academic excellence, brighter futures, and restored hope. The impact is already visible in the success stories of children currently in school and graduates who are thriving.
Health
Good health is the foundation for a meaningful life. That’s why Alaboson Foundation supports the healthcare needs of the families we serve. From assisting with medical bills to improving access to essential care, we help ensure that vulnerable individuals, especially children and women, can lead healthier lives.
Livelihood Support
We go beyond immediate assistance by empowering families with the skills and resources needed for sustainable living. Through strategic partnerships and future initiatives, we aim to offer vocational training, financial literacy programs, and other empowerment opportunities that uplift entire households and strengthen communities.
